Kevin lorow

Ministry Director

Kevin is the Ministry Director at CVC Brunswick, where he leads worship for our weekly services, runs CVCYouth, and takes care of whatever else is needed!

Kevin graduated in 2016 from Clark’s Summit University with a BA in Youth Pastoral Studies. He and his wife Carrie have been married for 4 years and have one son, Josiah.

Before heading to CVCBrunswick, Kevin spent time at CVCBroadview Heights, interning with the CVCYouth team and leading the Young Adult Ministry. Kevin loves spending time in his chair with a cup of coffee and a good book, particularly ones written by his favorite author, J.R.R. Tolkien. You can also often find him playing old Legend of Zelda games. He’s also a dog lover, baseball fanatic, and a little obsessed about getting his lawn to look better.

Vince Pozar

1 Year

Vince is in his first year of serving with CVCYouth! He was born and raised in Cleveland, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Cleveland State University. Currently, that degree is being used to teach high school math at Open Door Christian Schools.

He is involved at CVCBrunswick on their tech team, CVCYouth team, and as a co-leader of a Bible study. He enjoys influencing and shaping youth for God’s Kingdom. He also loves the competition of board games and outdoor activities. He can be found on a golf course (when Northeast Ohio weather permits) or hanging out with friends.

Bill & Jen Malone

1 Year

Bill was born and raised in northeast Ohio. He is married to his loving wife Jennifer of 25 years with 2 boys and 2 girls. Bill works as a dietary director for Sunrise Senior Living for the past 15 years and found it to be his passion to serve and take care of the senior’s nutritional needs along with making their day brighter with conversations. Bill has been a part of CVC with his family for over a decade, leads a couples life group and is now being called to help lead the youth ministry at the Brunswick campus.

Jennifer was born and raised in Northeast Ohio.  Jen currently lives in Brunswick with her husband of (soon to be) 25 years, their 4 children (Vinny, Eddy, Gina, and Grace), and their puppy, Oakley.  Jen has a passion for building relationships with other people and looks for opportunities to share Christ with others.  She tries to make a friend wherever she goes and her goal is to leave a smile on the face of those she encounters.  Whether going for hikes and bike rides, watching movies, or playing basketball, four square, or board games, it brings Jen great joy to spend time with her family.  Jen has served at CVC in the MOMtourage ministry as a group leader, she has led a CVC Lifegroup out of her home for 3 years, and currently is a CVCGO Team Member and a youth leader for the Brunswick Youth Ministry for middle and high school students.

Ruth Ricks

1 Year

Born and raised in Sweet Home Alabama, Ruth Ricks has been part of CVC since the Summer of 2018 shortly after moving to Ohio with her husband Trent. Ruth met Trent at Mississippi State University where they were both part of a ministry outreach for International Students. They have been married since 2015 and have two young daughters. Ruth taught middle and high-school Spanish for four years before transitioning to being a stay home mom. Ruth gave her life to Christ at a young age and during her teenage years, she learned how God is a personal God and that she had a personal responsibility to grow in her relationship with Him. She also had a desire to help teach young girls to find their worth in Christ and prayed God would give her an opportunity to work with young girls someday.

Ruth loves animals, especially horses and dogs. She currently has the same “puppy” that she has had since she was 15 years old. She loves being outdoors and traveling to foreign countries whenever she gets the opportunity.
